easy online sewing patterns
Help with sewing please?
In our fashion class at school, our next project is to make pretty much anything we want, as long as it's relatively easy, so i had an idea, to make this skirt:

I bought the skirt today, but it's too short on me, and i really really really like it, but i can't seem to find a pattern online that's like it (we have to sew from a pattern) so i was wondering if anyone knew where there was a pattern for it. thank you very much for taking time to look at this!
That's just a gathered (dirndl) skirt -- straight rectangle gathered to an elastic waistband.http://eternalmagpie.com/blog/tutorials/gathered-skirt-tutorial/
If you need an actual pattern, look in the beginner's patterns in any pattern book.
BTW, that's about $2 worth of fabric, $0.50 in elastic and about 15 minutes sewing time on an industrial machine. Hem the skirt before you sew it to the elastic -- it's faster and will probably be straighter.
