Custom weave fabric manufacturers?
I am starting an apparel/clothing company. I would like to have my own patterns made into fabrics. I would like to be able to do something similar to what Gucci does for instance or Louis Vuitton (their canvas bags have the 'checkerboard' pattern weaved in the fabric) and have their pattern/logo sewn right in the fabric.
Can somebody point me to some manufacturers or even just give me some keywords that could help me search in the right direction?
So far I've looked for "Custom Weaved Fabric" "Custom Fabric Manufacturers" etc. But what they offer is always printed on to the fabric instead of making the fabric that way.
Any help would be appreciated.
Do you realize how high the minimum yardages would be for this? Can you really afford to sit on all that yardage, or do you have millions of orders already?
