Well, I'm 13 and doing my options this year.
At the moment, I'm doing a textiles lesson, and were learning about the sewing machines more and stuff, I love fashion and stuff, and my aunties lending me her sewing machine, so i was just wondering any suggestions on what to make, and any good websites or anything on how to make stuff dead easy, also where can i get really cheap materials? I live in England if that helps, and would prefer to just go up town and buy stuff, does anyone know any good shops to look in though :]?

When I first started I, I used my old clothes/clothes I no longer needed and altered them slightly, adding things, changing its shape etc, just to get a hang of the sewing machine and to get to understanding it better.
I think the best place to get fabrics is vintage shops, as they're cheaper. They usually also sell pattern books, giving you the different fabric shapes you'll need to create loads of dresses,skirts, blouses, etc
