Halloween is fast approaching. For kids and for those who are young at heart, it means that it is almost time to go trick-or-treating around the neighborhood wearing outrageous Halloween costumes and getting candy from neighbors who are willing to get into the spirit of Halloween. For those who consider themselves too old for candy and tricks, they probably have a Halloween costume party to go to for some grown-up fun.

With Halloween just around the corner, you only have a few weeks to come up with a costume for yourself or for your child. This does not really have to be a problem. Some time before Halloween, the stores would be teeming with costumes for sale. But if you want a one-of-a-kind costume, you can make your own using a wide-format printer.

How to Make Your Costume

Before you can print out your costume, you need to know what exactly it is that you want to wear for Halloween. You can buy the outfit and trim it according to how you wish it to look like and just have your mask and headgear printed.

If you want to print out your costume, make sure that you resize the images you will use according to the measurements of your body. You will definitely want a costume that fits. You can create a pattern first and then have the image fit the pattern. Afterwards, print them out on the fabric that you want and then sew the loose ends together.

If you feel that making a Halloween costume this way seems too complicated, you can just print out your mask. There are wide-format printers that print directly on 3D objects regardless of the material of which they were made using inkjet technology. Just get a mask mold, design your mask using graphics software, and then print out the mask.
