Dress pattern for very slim girl?

I was going to surprise my fiancee for her birthday by making her a dress. I have no problem sewing (yes I'm a guy and I can sew), and following patterns, but I need help finding one.

She is very thin, 5'4 and 104 lbs, and I'm looking for a pattern that works well on a slimmer frame.

She likes dresses that are form fitting.

I don't have exact measurements, but like I said she is quite skinny.

What is that, sub petite?

You could probably go to an arts and crafts store, like Micheal's, and find a nice fabric.
Maybe she would like something more simple, like a black fabric, (or even purple!). Why don't you ask her as well? Then you'll have a better idea of what she prefers and you can make her the perfect dress! :)
