trying to sew a set of clear plastic covers for my furniture, but experiencing problem using this material?
yes, I have sewed silk, cotton and others materials in the past and did not experience this type of problem, which is the plastic / rubbery material sticks to the sewing machine ( sewing plate) and does not move readily as would cotton or silk gliding over the plate moving forward.
Get a piece of wide basting tape and fold it over each side of the plastic covering (right side out). Sew thru this and see if it works any better.
