What can a bride and groom do to address the needs of their guests?
As a guest, I've noticed sometimes the small details at a wedding/reception can make a huge difference. What are some things which should be considered when hosting the event?
For instance... items in the restroom like sanitary napkins or hair spray (for the ladies) and hankies or toothpicks (for the men)......First Aid kits including serious emergencies (like epi pens for allergies--I was once at a wedding where we had to call an ambulance for someone going into Anaphylactic Shock)
emergency sewing kits, after dinner mints at the tables, etc.
Suggestions? I'm not asking for myself but rather for a Y!A contact which appears to be planning a wedding.

Tiffany: in my neck of the woods, very vew people hire wedding planners. In fact, I've never known anyone to hire one and have never even seen a wedding planner business. It just isn't done. We do it ourselves.
As to the epi-pen thing - you can't just get one to keep on hand, they're only available by prescription. If the person has a allergy with a risk of anaphylactic shock (I do) they should have one themselves, and should know to keep it with them at all times. Keeping benadryl on hand would be very considerate of you, though!!
The baskets are very nice, though, in the bathrooms. Put some hairspray, tampons/pads, a sewing kit, a bottle of clear nail polish (for any runs in ladies' stockings!), etc in there. For the guys there's not so much really, but the ladies will appreciate it.
