I need ideas for sewing..help?
I recently had to do a project for my Housing & Interior Design class that required fabric. I got 3 different types of fabric (one with bananas, one with monkeys and bananas, and one that was yellow with little white circles) and they were each 1/4 yard. I used about a 11" x 7" piece from each. Now I have some fabric left, and also batting. I got one of the smallest bags of batting I could find. I didn't use very much. So could you help me think of something to make with my fabric? Thanks :)
Cut the rest up in equal sizes ,Strips and squares work the best. Sew them together alternating patterns. Sew enough of them to make a double sided pillow & stuff it. How about a stuffed toy, a dresser scarf. a chair seat cushion. Use some cleaned out cans like tuna and cover it with one type stuff it and cover the stuffing to make pin cushions as gifts. There ya go! You really needed to give more information about what you where decorating or made with your fabric first. In order to get better answers.
