In sewing what is contrast casing and webbing?
I bought a pattern via ebay and received it today it says I need contrast casing and webbing.. Can anyone tell me what these things are and/or show me a picture so that I know what I'm looking for? Thanks
I was hoping you'd have a picture of your pattern so I could "point" to those parts of it. "Casing" is the part the drawstring or elastic goes through. "Contrast casing" is a casing made of a different color fabric. Webbing is something you buy at the fabric store. It's like backpack straps. They are made of a type of webbing. Webbing can mean a few other things as well, so it's impossible to know exactly what kind of webbing you mean without knowing what your pattern makes.
