I have a New Home full Rotary sewing machine. Never used a sewing machine I need to know how to use it?
Im 21 and never used a sewing machine before. I got a machine from a friends grandmother. So i have no idea on how to use it/work it. Ive played around with it. And looked online but no real answers. It says on the side of it. NEW HOME full Rotary. Don't know if thats the model or what. So please help. I llove doing arts and crafts and wanna learn so i can do some handbags for my neices and sisters. Thanks
. Their history is interesting @ ismacs. New Home sold out around 1940 and that company was then sold to the Japs in the '50s.
You might just try to get a 'generic' manual that'll show you how to operate that machine. Maybe a local fabric shop can help?

I suppose that one is totally pumped by foot? No electricity? But the basic operation is generally the same. But to be practical, it's probably rusty and worn out. Donate it to a museum.
