If my sewing machine uses a usb port....?
Do I still need the special software to download embroidery patterns to use on my machine?
I have a singer 250 embr. machine with a usb port......and no you do not need software other than your machine and computer.........when you download an embroidery file (mine are kept in a separate folder in my documents named embroidery. that is why you have the usb port.....from machine to computer.......make sure you have the computer on a separate table from the machine as you could suffer distorted embroidery sew outs......if you download files that are zipped (compressed files) you will need to open them first after downloading and before putting them in your files..you need winzip which you can download for free on a website.. so you should be able to open your embroidery files and send them to your machine......although I do not know what machine you have you should have no problem sending designs to your machine via the usb port.....you should have software that came with your machine so you can view your embroidery files........hope you have sewmuchfun embroidering.......
