WHAT SHOULD I MAKE? <- HELP!?
I have recently founded an interest in making things using sewing machines and trying different stitching. I want to create myself a small project which will make my sewing better - what should I make? I'm a 14 (nearly 15) year old girl, I own a sewing machine, sewing equipment, lots of fabric, and a mannequin. Thanks. x
Try buying a pattern of something simple to start. Bags are generally easy. Then move on to something a bit more difficult. You can also make your own patterns for clothing by tracing a pair of pants or a shirt. Eventually you'll learn how to drape fabric and fit clothing. It may take a few years.
