Hi......i am somone who loves sewing and has been doing so since the age of 7.?
I am planning to buy a sewing machine called Novel, made in India. Has anybody heard of it. How is it?
In addition to service, you will need to be able to buy replacement bobbins, needles, and accessories such as presser feet for specialty sewing. If you can't easily find these important sewing supplies then the machine is not a good investment. Also you need a good set of operating instructions, does it come with instructions, etc. Take your time when buying a machine, and try plenty of different makes and model before buying a machine. Never buy a machine without trying it first.
There is no more important piece of equipment to the person who sews than the sewing machine. It can make sewing either pleasurable, or it can make sewing miserable. Yet it's almost an afterthought for many people. Never buy the cheapest one or first one or one that you happen to find *wherever*. Invest in a good quality machine that can be maintained, repaired and that you can add to with the latest and greatest of notions and accessories and it will keep you happily stitching for a long time.
