Is anyone planning to attend the Sewing & Quilting Expo In Sept. 2007?
I've never attended one before, and I'm really thinking of attending. Can you please give details of how it is and what goes on. Also about how much money is envolved after paying your class and hotel fees?

The seventh annual Northwest Quilting & Creative Arts Expo 2007 is Thursday, September 27th from 9 am to 6 pm; Friday the 28th from 9 am to 6 pm; & Saturday, September 29th from 9 am to 5 pm at the Portland Expo Center. Four women who share a passion for anything related to sewing, quilting and other creative arts came up with the idea for the first Northwest Quilting Expo in 2001! The goal of the Expo is to bring to the Pacific Northwest a world class event to combine shopping, classes and a top rate quilt show.
This three day event offers inspiration and opportunities to expand your interests. Bring your friends and celebrate the creative arts together! With your General Admission ticket you can come and go all day long, enjoying a mix of shopping, quilt displays, wearable art and doll displays. Take a class or two. Enjoy the scheduled fashion show and the unscheduled fashion show seen on the other attendees. The Portland Expo Center is located at 2060 N. Marine Drive in North Portland near the Columbia River on the border with the State of Washington.
The Expo quilt show features hundreds of quilts to dazzle your senses and to create pleasant memories. As you wander past art quilts and traditional quilts, wearable art, cloth dolls and more, you'll emerge with new ideas for your own projects. Viewing other quilts always stimulates your own color and design sense. Remember, when combining fabric and your imagination, anything is possible. The Expo brings together over 60 vendors from all over the country. Our vendors offer thousands of yards of fabric, every conceivable notion, the newest books and designs, along with embellishments and great sewing machines. This shopping experience will keep you busy and inspire you all year long.
