Which material is this?
I've been wondering if this kind of material is a black denim or heavy cotton etc.
(Black denim seemed to be too blue-ish, so I dont know, and the cotton-like material I got was too flimsy, gahh!)

Its the heavy duty stuff used on the criminal damage pants/trousers.
You see recently I've worked out a sewing pattern for making jeans and such, but I'm unsure of which kind of material to make my first pair out of, and I'd like it to be as close to that as possible, as I wish to make punky styled clothing.
Also, if anyone knows any good suppliers I could order from, that'd be great! I'm just afraid of buying something too thin or cheap looking =[
