Beginner Projects with a mini sewing machine?

I'm interested in Fashion I have just brought a mini sewing machine and I have not done much sewing before apart from a tote bag.

I've been sewing for years and my favorite fun and simple thing to make is still pillowcases (http://kidoozy.com/blog/?p=2700) in all kinds of fun patterns.
