What do you think of this? ?
I have been working on sewing these little stocking ornaments and have sold some, like at a salon where my mom is really good friends with the owner. My uncle also ordered 36 of them and I got $22 (they are $0.50 each)! I am making them out of felt and have made probably almost every color now, especially since the felt is really cheap. The top of each of them has a strip of white felt that is about an inch thick in width, if you know what I mean. On the strip of felt I either put beads, lace, sequins, or buttons on them. For the handle I use a really thin strip of felt towards the top. What do you think? I want opinions please. Thanks!
My uncle wants 36 because he is sending them to countries that are poor. They send things to them at his church.
The ornaments sound really pretty, they would make excellent package decorations too. If you are concerned about the cost, maybe ask your uncle to help pay for the supplies, and count your hard work as your portion of the donation. That is a good way to feel good about Christmas, and your part in it.
