My dog keeps licking the legs of our antique sewing machine. All I can think of is that he's acking a mineral?
I have already tried giving him a vitamin/mineral supplement as well as iron. Have no idea what's going on.
There is something on the legs that is appealing to him. Wash the legs with soap and water to discourage him. You don't say how long this has been going on, but I would do it asap, just in case. In the meantime, keep him away from the machine. Try giving him a kong toy with peanut butter stuffed inside it to distract him.
