Can I dye a couch? ((Details inside))?

My mom has this old love seat that she said I could have. I like it but I hate the color. I cant sew to save my life, and I cant find a slip cover anywhere that would fit the shape of it. The fabric on the seat cushion can be removed but that's it. Is it possible to dye it a different color, even though I cant take the fabric off?

once your finshe with it you will see some sides of the couch will be darker or lighter then other sides... people can not make color leveling so precise... even ferrari uses a machine intergrated to put the ferrari red colors evenly as much as possible by a computer.... so i doubt you can even come close... i recomend just selling it or just playing around since it IS a old couch... worst to worst you can throw it away and say its an old couch i dont care.
