how can you get the HISTORY BOOKS changed?
i have never liked it that so many kids are taught blatant falsehoods about US history ( Columbus discovered America, Betsy Ross sewed the first flag etc. ) so how would a normal citizen like me ( i live in Ohio ) go about getting the powers that be to get the books changed to be more accurate?
You'd have to provide considerable proof of your contentions - some of which are true and some of which are questionable. I have to laugh every time I hear someone blat that George Washington was the first President...there were 14 before him! See, the Continental Congress elected a president of that body, who served for one year. He was technically President of the entire country at the time he served. George Washington was the first CONSTITUTIONAL President!
