Does anyone have information on how to use an "Atlas Deluxe Precision Sewing Machine?" Please help!?
I've recently got out my grandmother's old sewing machine. It runs great. However, I can not find any information on this machine. It's a very heavy machine that folds down into a table enclosure. This machine also has a knee peddle to operate it. Can anyone give me any information on this machine and how to thread it?
I am not familiar with that model but a lot of sewing machines were made in Japan after WW2 up until the 70s. Many were re-badged for department stores but similar to each other in operation. Easy to find in thrift stores and garage sales for $5 - $40. Value usually depends on condition and completeness. If yours is an older metal one, it probably fits this scenario. I recommend you find a manual and give it a good oiling before using, it will probably still work just fine. Look for a manual at one of these places:
