tote bag sewing instructions
sewing ideas for a beginner?
i am 13 and i want to sew something small but i don't know what. a pattern or instructions would be great. please no tote bags
i am making a pillow at school and would like any ideas or help you can give. thankyou
I took Home Ec in school, and we all started with pillows. You can get a yard of fabric for dirt cheap (at most $2) and make one HUGE pillow (a King sized pillow), or several little ones. You can start with the basic square, then go on to triangles, circles, ovals... all different shapes.
After that, you can try di- or tri-colored pillows... ones with ruffles, ones with sewn on shapes... tons of things. The internet is a great source to get crazy/silly pillow ideas, all for free.
