What is mean by CAPITAL REDUCTION in a stock?
I know about bonus, split, rights. But recently in April, Singer India, the sewing machine maker did capital reduction, with which shares got 10 times less with same value.( eg. people who had 500 shares, after capital reduction, they had 50 shares , but price remained same )What does this mean?
