help! i have a singer simple sewing machine!?
i was working on my quilt the bobbin ran out of thread..so i threaded it like normal now the stitches are loose? hubby & i have done everything we can think of..im very frustrated cuz im almost done w/this quilt!..help!-Maria
When this happens to me, it's because the bobbin thread has fallen out of its little slot in the bobbin case. Take it out of the machine, take out the bobbin and re-wind any loose thread thread by hand. Put the bobbin into the case with the thread tailing off into your left hand, or whichever side the manual specifies. Pull the thread down through the slot in the side of the bobbin case and pull it a little to make sure the bobbin turns smoothly in there. Then pop the whole thing into its place in the machine. Make sure you hear it snap into place.
