Famous Fashion Design3rs that did not sew?

I would like to know because I have no love or energy for sewing so I decided to dr0p out of my sewing classes and focus on learning a lot about Fashion( textile, trims, cad, history of costume..etc.) and focus on Journalism. So I want to try to see how fashion journalism works for me..
I want to be a singer-dancer- fashion journalist/ designer...I want something to fall back on if my singing-dancing career does not launch..because now that I've learned how much i hate and don't want to sew..i still want my designs to come to life one day..so any names..?

i went to school for fashion too so i understand where you are coming from. but if you want something bad enough you have to work for it. you can't really count celebs because they start their lines after they're famous. that leaves what one or two people. if you want it bad enough you'll suck it up and learn to sew. then if you do become famous you won't have to worry about it. (by the way who goes to school for fashion design and doesn't like to sew?)
