applique sewing machines
What is the difference in all the embroidery/sewing machines?
I am just kinda snooping around & looking for an embroidery/sewing machine. I want to be able to embroider some outfits & things & I am really wanting to make some appliques with this as well. I do not want to spend $1000 to $4000 on one. What is the difference between say a Brother 350, or 6770, or 700 other than the price? I don't want a big commercial machine. Just one that I can make some appliques & embroider some dresses & things for my kids & friends. Thank you!
Brother machines you find in Wally World are made in Taiwan..they have no support, they break (usually within 3- 6 mths average) and they do a 4x4 in square ONLY. If you want a GOOD machine that will last and make MANY designs (not commercial machines and NOT copyrighted designs) go to your nearest Fabric/Sewing Machine shop and get one there...they have used ones that actually will last for more that 3 mnths. (Singer, Brother are all made in Taiwan these days they are the cheapest made machines and therefore break down a LOT.)
