Advise for a sewing beginner?
I will be learning how to sew this summer and was wondering what's a good project to start with. I plan to sew some of my own clothes and don't want an ugly pattern thing to do. Also I've hand sew small pillows before but they're not very good. So now I'll be using a machine.
If you have any advise on what to start with or know of an online pattern thats good and easy that would be helpful. Or any sites to see about easy sewing for beginners. Also any tips you can tell me. Or what types of things I'll need to make whatever it is.
Any advise you have will be very much appreciated.
start simple. pajama pants are easy, tote bags are easy, maybe a simple dress. dont get worked up if stuff doesnt turn out perfect the first time. take a look at clothing you already have and like, see how its stitched and things like that. it will give you ideas of how to put new stuff toghether.
