How do I make my own quilt labels?
I want a small plain iron or sew on label that I can write on with a textile pen, just who the quilt is for, that it was made by me and the year it was made. I am unable to find anything like this pre-made online, can I make my own somehow? Or does anyone know where I can buy some plain ones?
Here are some printable labels - you print the frame/background on the inkjet fabric, then write in the specifics with a Pigma or other pen of your choice.

(I will mention that while many people love printable labels, my own experience with one was bad - the baby threw up on it and the ink bled.)

Most commonly, though, I make my own sew-on labels. I cut a piece of pre-washed white or off-white muslin 1/2" - 3/4" bigger in each direction than my desired final size. Then, I cut a piece of freezer paper my desired final size, center it shiny-side down on the back of my muslin and press with a hot dry iron until it sticks. The freezer paper stabilizes the fabric so I can draw, write or stamp whatever I want to say on the fabric side (I use Pigma pens). When you're done decorating your label, turn it paper-side-up again and dab or paint a little liquid starch on the exposed fabric all around the edges, especially right next to the paper. Fold the fabric flaps to the paper side, mitering corners neatly, and press in place with the iron. Lift one of the flaps and peel off the freezer paper. Press your label again carefully from the right side and it's ready to applique onto the back of your quilt. (You can even use the same piece of freezer paper again.)
