It turned it that more often than not, the repairs needed were most very basic. You don't really have to be trained by the manufacturer or any of their authorized repair centers. What you really need is to have a basic sewing machine repair kit which usually contains sewing machine oil, a crevice attached vacuum, tweezers, white lithium grease, a small flat head screw drivers and toothpicks.

The first step in Bernina sewing machine repairs is to open all the top, bottom and side covers with the use of a screwdriver to be able to see and access the inside parts. You would have then to clean it with a vacuum. You would then have to remove the thread bobbin plate cover to clean it as well. How can I pierce my lip all the way through?

I just tried to pierce my lip on the side for nearly ten minutes but I could only get the part of the needle where it narrows through. I could see a white spot where the needle SHOULD come through on the other side but It just wouldnt go through. Dont get me wrong, its a damn sharp, thick sewing machine needle. Its about a 16g but not nearly a 14g. I just dont know what the issue is. I would ice my lip only on the inside for a few minutes while I was watching tv so I could numb for longer and numb all the way through. I just dont know why it wont go through, no matter how much I push. Any advice is great. I take all the sterilizing and vitamin related precautions.

Your lip is tougher than you think. Sewing machine needles are not appropriate for piercing because they have to rely on your strength to puncture the surface and then tear the rest of the way through, whereas a hollow piercing needle quickly pierces through removing a small portion of tissue with it. All you're doing to pushing tissue around rather than piercing through it.

You need to have it done by a professional with the proper tools so that you don't injure the delicate tissue in your lip.
