Labioplasty can Rid a Woman of Embarrassment and Discomfort

Though not thought of by others very often, woman are often self-conscious about their vaginal areas. Whether it is hygienic or aesthetic, many woman seek a way to fix their problems. Labiaplasty may be the answer they're looking for.

Many women are unhappy with the size of their labia minora (inner vaginal lips), which may cause insecurity or embarrassment with a sexual partner, hygienic problems, or discomfort in tight fitting pants or swim wear. Women have become more aware of differences in genital appearance, due in large part of nudity in magazines and nude presentation in movies. When labia minora are enlarged or unequal in size, some women harbor feelings of deformity or being abnormal, with loss of self-esteem. Most women do not want the smaller inner lips to extend beyond the outer lips, and many do not desire the smaller inner vaginal lips to project much beyond the larger outer lips.

Labia minora enlargement may be genetic and a normal variant from birth or it may be due to hormone manipulation in infancy, childbirth, chronic irritation or persistent manual stretching. Labia reduction or labioplasty is a relatively minor procedure in which the excessive labia minora tissue is removed. Women may desire labia minora reduction for comfort or hygienic reasons, to prevent interference with sexual intercourse, to relieve chronic irritation, or simply for aesthetic reasons.

Most labioplasty procedures are performed by amputating or excising the excess tissue and over-sewing the raw edge. This technique replaces the natural contour and normally darker pigmented labial border with an unnatural and irregular scar line of more lightly colored inner labial tissue. A newer technique preserves the normal contour and color of the labia minora edge. Re-approximation of the normal labia minora edges is allowed when the excess labia are removed in a way that allows it to happen. After you heal, detecting the surgery will be near impossible, as a normal appearing labia minora remains.

Other procedures to enhance the appearance of the vaginal area include augmentation labioplasty, which allows aesthetic enhancement and youthful labia majora (outer vaginal lips) by fat transplant/injections. In addition, lipoplasty can be used to remove fat from an overly large or protruding mons pubis and upper parts of the labia majora. Lipo-sculpturing can alleviate the unsightly fatty bulges of these areas and produce an aesthetically pleasing contour. These may be combined with other plastic surgery procedures including liposculpture, breast implants, breast reduction or lift, tummy tuck, nose or eyelid surgery, etc.

It's a good example how the Hadiths have invened crude cruelties to subdue Islamic women.

The history of female circumcision, also known as female genital mutilation (FGM), has been traced back as far as the 2nd century BC, when a geographer, Agatharchides of Cnidus, wrote about female circumcision as it occurred among tribes residing on the western coast of the Red Sea (now modern-day Egypt). Based on current geographic locations of FGM, the practices seems to have originated in Egypt and has spread south and west.

Some believe that female circumcision was rooted in the Pharaonic belief in the bisexuality of the gods. According to this belief, mortals reflected this trait of the gods; every individual possessed both a male and a female soul. The feminine soul of the man was located in the prepuce of the penis; the masculine soul of the woman was located in the clitoris. For healthy gender development, the female soul had to be excised from the man and the male soul from the woman. Circumcision was thus essential for boys to become men and girls to become women.
Prior to the rise of Islam, Egyptians once raided territories to the south for slaves, and Sudanic slaves were exported to areas along the Persian Gulf. Reports from the 15th and 16th centuries suggest that female slaves were sold at a higher price if they were ''sewn up" in a way that made them unable to give birth. After the region converted to Islam, this practice was no longer possible because Islam prohibits Muslims from enslaving others of their own religious beliefs.

It's not an Islamic thing and was never enforced by the Prophet Mohammad. True Muslims worldwide snould condemn that practice.
