Which is the Best Sewing Machine along with Model Number under $100.00 in USA MARKET and where can I get it?
Should be able to sew denim(jeans),silk, cotton, polyester, nylon, rayon, spandex, lycra etc.
I'm at the beginner level and would like to hem my jeans as of now.Where can I find beginner-level sewing tutorials?
I purchased Easy Stitcher from Target of $25.00,but haven't tried, its similar to $19.00 sewing machine, that available on youtube videos.
Will it be able to sew the denim?
What else ,do I need in order to hem my jeans.

If you are interested in a sewing machine under 100$ that isn't going to be a waste of money, find a used singer or kenmore model. Either brand are tried and true and still offer parts for older models. Plus, you can get a wonderful machine that is worth over a hundred for about 50$ or even less (shipping may be a factor as these are weighty) Check e-bay.

I have had my Kenmore sewing machine since the 80's and it is a late 60's version with zig-zag and blind hem stitch. I have only had to have it serviced once. I do a lot of silk and leather work and the machine hasn't destroyed anything yet.

It is important that you find the accessories to which ever machine you choose at a local craft provider. By accessories I mean sewing machine needles, presser feet, bobbins and so forth.

As for hemming your own jeans; this is a fairly easy projects. However, remember that with different fabric weights, you will need to use a different weight thread (in this case a matching thread specifically for denim) and a different needle size. If you ignore these rules, your bobbin feed will continue to jam, needles and thread will break, your machine will miss stitches and you may end up with holes or thread knots that are hard to repair.

You will also need to adjust the presser foot and tension.

This principle is true with working with silk, polyester and various weights of cotton. Different settings, needles and threads are required for knits, wovens, sheers, leather and felted fibers. Research before you sew!

A minor investment would be the readers digest new complete guide to sewing http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Guide-Sewing-Readers-Digest/dp/0762104201 . It was required reading for my fashion design, sewing 101 class and has been a wonderful trouble shooting guide with basic care instructions included. It will not teach you to sew or use the machine but it will make the process easier.

Also consider Threads magazine for construction suggestions, tips and great comparisons on sewing machines, dress forms, patterns and so on.

Good Luck!

This weblog appears to get yourself a large ammount of visitors. How will you get people to it? It offers a good individual twist on things. I assume having something authentic or substantial to express is the central factor.
