sewing room storage ideas
I need your help on a sewing room and storage ?
I really would appreciate your help with some good ideas to set up a sewing room , this is for a room in the basement, it includes storage on the one side and a sewing area on the opposite,

Both of these books have tons of information and options.
The most common priority is light light light! It's especially important where you will be sewing and where you will be cutting.
The thing I made my first priority each time we moved was my cutting table. I like to be able to walk around at least three sides of it. Right now it has one short end against the wall. I also try to put my sewing machine table so I am not facing a wall two feet away.
My cutting table is really a door blank held up on each end by short bookcases. (My husband put nice wooden edges on it.) The cutting table has to be the right height for you.
In addition to setttng up the sewing-specific stuff be sure to make it comfy for you. Is it warm enough? Can you make it look more cozy than the average basement? Some folks like having music, a TV, computer/internet, or a DVD player. You will be spending a lot of time there so make it work for you!
