Sewing help. what is this?
it says a contrasting band.
i'm making dog pajamas.
is it fabric?
or like bias tape?
can i use a old tank top or something?
if so, how do i make it.

It is a second fabric that greatly differs in color.
Like a black shirt with a white color. The two colors contrast.
The instructions should indicate the width and length needed. I find bias tape to be a pain to work with.
Use the same type of fabric (cotton to cotton, knit to knit) unless the instructions indicate using a stretch, like knit for the band.
