Brother LS-2125i?

I'm not satisfied with it.
I'm a beginner so I want a machine with a foot controller that I can press very lightly on and the needle will go slow.
With the machine I have now when I press lightly the needle eventually stops. Then I have to press all the way down for it to start up again...which is too fast for me.
I have worked with a different sewing machine in high school that was super easy to use..don't know what brand.
Anyways..Any suggestions on what sewing machine I should get that has what I'm looking for??

Among other things I got frustrated with it and now theres thread caught where the bobbin goes..so the machine won't work at all now.

You should check out the Kenmore machines at Sears. They are affordable, well made and easy to use plus if you do have a problem Sears is good about solving any repair problems. I have a Bernina I inherited from my mom in the late seventies and it has never given me a bit of trouble, ever, but I couldn't afford one if I had to buy one new. The new singer machines are not as good as the old ones were. Husquavarna,Pfaff and Janome are good makes as well. You should try to use one before you buy it. It's more difficult to do that now as there are not a lot of places that sell sewing machines from a showroom like years ago. good luck!
