Can I paint a section of print fabric?
I bought some discontinues IKEA fabric room divider panels on ebay in what the add said was orange and cream, but when I received them they are actually red and cream. I cannot return them and I REALLY love the print but it would totally clash with my decoration.
Is there any way that I can paint over the red parts or sew orange material? I don’t want it to look tacky or homemade.
I included a link to the actual panel if that’s any help
Any suggestions would be supper appreciated!

Fabric pens might be a good option, since it won't be like you're laying on a coat of paint. Try these:

You might end up going through a few pens to get the entire thing done. Test on an inconspicuous place first.
The biggest thing to find out is how the colors will react: will yellow work in with the red to make orange, or will you need to just find an orange that will go on over the top of the red? Either way, it'll still be a bit of a dark piece, if the red is dark.
Bleach pen was a good idea: http://housekeeping.about.com/od/productreviews/gr/cloroxbleachpen.htm
And here's an interesting little email conversation about fading: http://www.museangel.net/fabric_fade.txt
