I am looking for a no-sew, tied, fleece hat pattern?
I cannot find the pattern for this hat anywhere, have seen it on kids though. It looks like two triangles that have been tied together. The hat comes to a point, is very long and on these upper elementary kids can easily go around their necks. I just need a pattern which provides the dimensions for these long triangles.
If you haven't tried Google and Dogpile, I'd suggest trying Dogpile first. Type something like "no-sew fleece hat pattern free" into the search box and see what you get. I say Dogpile first because it searches through other search engines, including Google.
If you've already tried that, I say find someone wearing that hat and politely ask to measure it. Carry a tape measure in your pocket anytime you may be likely to see one of these hats on someone. As you're measuring it, check for subtle angles and all. Measure the sides and measure from the point to the center of the bottom. Measure one knotted fleece strand's width, too. Remember it takes more length to tie a knot than you would expect, so be generous when you determine the length for the tie strips.
