Brother sewing/embroidery machine Innov-ís 1200?
I was wondering if anyone has this Brother sewing and embroidery machine, Innov-ís 1200. What are your likes and dislikes? Also I am fairly new to sewing. I mostly sew easy things like blankets and burp cloths, ect, nothing fancy. I really like sewing but don't know where to start. I figure if I'm getting a new machine, (I have a broken Singer right now) that maybe I should spend the money and get something good. I am also looking at the Brother SE270D. Any advise would be great. Thank you all in advance :)
I have the Brother SE270D and love it. It's limited to a 4x4" embroidery size, though. My regular sewing machine is a Brother, too, and they are both very easy to use, and weren't at all hard to learn.
With the Innov-is 1200, also made by Brother, there's a 5x7" embroidery area which I'd love to have if I could afford it.

That's the best forum around for embroidery and sewing machine owners, and you can get lots of free designs there, too. I've been a member for a couple years now, and learned a LOT about machine embroidery I'd never have known if I hadn't joined.
