Is a portable sewing machine good enough for regular use?

Hello. My mother bought me a Quikstitch portable sewing machine last year, because I asked her for a decent sewing machine so I can sew regular clothes like shirts and skirts.

Since its portable is it only useful for "touchups" only or can I use it make regular clothes.

If this is the Quikstitch Pro for about $50 like in the link, then looks like it's going to be limited to items that only require a straight stitch. Fortunately most clothing only requires a straight stitch. It will be a good machine for you to experiment on and see if you like sewing enough to continue. But if you end up doing a lot of sewing I think you'll outgrow it rather quickly.
