i need ideas for my wedding ceremony to cover the park benches in front of the wedding stage please.?
I'm getting married at a local park here in my town and it's at a band stage with 42 park benches facing the stage. The benches are wide open to nature's wrath and some are covered with bird droppings. Instead of scrubbing each and every bench, I'd rather just cover them so they all look nice. No stores sell park bench covers except for heavy duty storage one's which are about $50 each.That is way out of my budget. Please help give me some ideas of what to do.
I thought of finding a bunch of old white sheets and cutting and sewing them to fit them but still think there should be other ideas. AHHHHHH!!!
Thank you all so much for your replies. I think I'm just gonna go with the disposable table cloths to cover the benches-easy solution and easy clean up! Thanks for your suggestions.
Plastic table clothes I think would be the best way to go. Washing all of them the day of the wedding would take way to much time. And you would have to wash them the day of to make sure they stayed clean. Just drape the table cloth over the bench and use rope or ribbon to secure it where the seat meets the back of the bench. That way it is easy and fast and the whole bench is still covered. Good luck!
