Can someone who is good at sewing help me make a hooded cape?

I am trying to make a red cape for my Little Red Riding Hood Costume, but I'm having trouble finding a tutorial of the type of hood that I want to make.

Basically you are looking at two squares sewn down two sides... I personally like to make one corner of the two squares pointed (ends up being your back of the hood) and then add a decorative string of beads or ribbons.

This uses two 1/2 circles and is a nice full looking cape they use french seams so you end up with a clean finish
