Common causes are:
Lint in the bobbin shuttle
Bobbin wound incorrectly
Bobbin inserted incorrectly
Wrong weight of thread in bobbin
Upper thread wrong weight. The bobbin thread should be the same or a finer weight
Upper thread threaded incorrectly
