Information on a Vintage Brother Sewing Machine?
I have an old Brother sewing machine in a convertible cabinet. I was trying to locate any information on it. It is solid metal. The front says Brother Project 111. On the side it says Model 111, and on the back it says Model C. I'm trying to figure out how old it is.
I believe your machine was made around 1957. Look on the motor id plate to see if there are any patent dates, you'll know it was made after the latest date on the plate. Now, is this machine worth $$$?
No, sorry...a lot of these machines were made and most of them can be found in second-hand and thrift stores for around $35.00US IF the cabinet is in excellent shape.
