Has anyone purchased a necchi sewing machine model # 3205FA?$ 290 with serger- good buy or not?
Bought the machine as a school overstock item was told it was worth $600+
#1, and this is for ALL sewing machine users and potential buyers, NEVER EVER, EVER!!! buy a sewing machine from Hotel-Motel, School Overstock, or any other scam. And just how, you may ask, do I know these sales are a scam? I have been in the sewing machine business for more than 35 years and have seen all the devious, deceptive ways that con artists will use to sell sewing machines.
#2 While the machine you purchased will probably run for a while, it is NOT a true Necchi machine which was made in Italy. Necchi sold their trade name to an oriental company and the machines have gone steadily downhill ever since.
#3 The average cost of a good quality sewing machine and a serger is over $1000.
Gosh, I sure hope you have learned something and the same goes for all the others out there who have considered buying a machine from scam artists.
