One of the simplest project for a beginners is a Scarf . Choose a gourmet yarn that looks rich, as your project will have a designer look.Most of the scarves will only take one ball of yarn to complete so the cost is not much an issue. Using the appropirate hook for the yarn ,chain until the chain is as long as you want your Scarf. Turn, chain one skip a stitch & single crochat in each chain until the end of the row.Turn, Chain one , skip a stitch single crochet until the end of the row. Repeat this until the scarf is the width you had planned, fasten off the yarn , and enjoy your new scarf
Handbag
2nd best Pattern is Handbag . You will need a chain 43, Once you have 43 chained, double crochet twice in the third chain from hook, then double crochet all the way to the end of the chain. Now Start double crocheting down the opposite side of the chain . Once you have made it down the other side of the chain double crochet two times in the last chain. Now chain three again and double crochet in next stitchall right, now just chain three and double crochet around again slip stitch to finish your rounds. Just keep this up till you think your bag is big enough. Once you think its big enough finish it off.Once you figure that out and double crochet from one end to the other end chain three and double crochet to the other end again. keep this up till you get the lid to your bag to the length you want then finish it off.Make sure you keep the beginning chain lose or you will have a massive headache coming your way later on.
Hat
You Can make a hat to match your scarf & handbag , or make a pile of hats for your kide to get wet & snowy. Pick a matching yarn or a washable worsted for childer's hats. Using the appropiate hook make a chain 12" long. Turn, skip two stitches , & double crochet until the end of the row. Turn chain two, skip two stiches & double - crochet until then end of the row. Repeat until he piece is tall enough o fit around your Kids head, with the end row & the chain row touching .Fasten off the end of the row. Sew together the end row and the chain row,making a tub.Gather one end of the tube for the top of the hat. Adding a pompom If you wish, Fold up the other end of the tube For the cuff of Hat . Now you have your Hat ready

Felt Ski Hat With Ear Flaps Sewing Pattern?

Do not use felt for a hat like this.. it will tend to disintegrate under the stress of wearing, and the patterns I've given you are all designed for stretch knit fabric, with the stretch going around the hem. If the reason you want to use felt is because it doesn't ravel, you're in for a treat -- neither do the polyester fleeces like Polartec -- which is what the sample hat was made of, with felt appliques.
