Sewing pattern and duct tape?
I am making myself a hat with a Simplicity pattern. The pattern calls for interfacing, which I assume is to make it stiff enough to hols its shape. (I'm not much of a sewer.) If I am making the hat from duct tape instead of fabric, do I still need the interfacing?

Why is there no spellchecker where you ask the questions?
Is interfecing solid enough so I can just apply it to the sticky side of the duct tape and that will cover the stickyness well enough so that it will not stick to things?
If you are making a hat out of Duck tape; You will need to cover the sticky part of the tape. If you are covering the sticky part with the same duck tape, I don't think you would need the interfacing. Two layers of Duck tape is about as stiff as the interfacing would be.
